I’m Pastor Manar Chai, the lead pastor of Immanuel Myanmar Church (IMC).
It has been my joy to serve this loving community since our founding in 2010. Together, we have grown as a spiritual family, and in 2022, we celebrated moving into our very own church building in St. Charles, Illinois—a true blessing from God!
My heart is to help every Myanmar family and individual feel at home here. Whether you are new to the area, searching for a church, or simply visiting, you are dearly welcome. Our Sunday services are in Burmese, filled with heartfelt worship, Bible teaching, and warm fellowship that feels just like being with family.

Our Sunday School Teachers are the heart of our children’s ministry. They serve with deep love for God and genuine care for every child, helping the next generation know Jesus, grow in faith, and experience God’s love in a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.
What Our Teachers Do

Teach age-appropriate Bible lessons every Sunday with passion and creativity

Lead fun activities, crafts, games, and songs that make God’s Word come alive

We use live streaming, podcasts, and photography to extend God’s Word beyond our walls.
Every Sunday service streams live for those unable to attend. Podcasts and short videos deliver Bible teaching, testimonies, and worship moments to phones and homes anywhere. Our photos capture God’s work—smiling children in Sunday School, youth praising, families fellowshipping—sharing Christ’s joy online.
